Time for my serious review. Like all games, there are "Pros" and "Cons" to this great little Indy game. As with all reviews, these are my opinions. Cons [*] At the moment, no peaceful mode. The enemy attacks are frequent and get tougher as you build out your factory. [*] The OST is good, but too short. I believe there are 12 songs and they there is no option to keep it playing non-stop. [*] The Technology Tree is probably the worst that I've ever seen in a factory game. It's so confusing and looks like a flowchart for the most complex decision in the world. [url=https://autoforge.wiki.gg/images/2/20/Research.png]Technology Tree [*] No merger conveyor, nothing that can merge from 2-1 or 3-1. Pros [*] Art style is great. It reminds me of Terraria, but with automation. [*] Conveyors work really well. They are cheap to make and can go in any direction fairly easily. [*] The OST is good, despite being kinda short. [*] Factory building is solid. [*] Game's in EA, with lots of promising updates. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1960480/view/4176600429546163779]Roadmap Overall, I give this a solid A- . It is a solid game, there are a lot of things that I like about it. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you developer for your hard work.

I wish I could do a "maybe" on this. The game feels solid enough but it's the same Dev that abandoned Crea, so be careful with this. The game is currently well done and I plan to put more hours into it as I figure things out, but it's kinda' all over the place and given the way the game is, it's hard to set up good factories. There are a lot of unexplained things, like the material refiner. Nowhere does it say to get metal you need to insert iron ingot - you just have to guess. It actually shows the icon for 'metal' as the thing you insert to get metal. That's an example of some of the weird things in the game. It's trial and error, which is okay for EA, I suppose. Yes, I do recommend it but I do so cautiously. I hope the dev learned from the failures of Crea (though honestly, I wish he'd finished it because it was a cool concept). This game does offer a fresh take on automation games. It is NOT as god as factorio, as some reviewers suggest, but it is neat. I've also read that if the procgen does you dirty, you'll run out of your base materials like iron and such - to me, that's unacceptable for a game like this. That needs to be fixed, for sure. Also, this game would definitely benefit from a workshop. Cool game, though. I think $15 is a good price for it. Maybe $20 w/inflation, but I wouldn't pay more than that for it.

Great factory automation game even for early access. The developers are active on discord to field questions and receive feedback. The game shows a LOT of promise, and with the addition of multiplayer this game would be a dream cross between terraria and factorio. I'm enjoying the game very much, and with more updates and development it will be great! In its current state the game is a functional and enjoyable 2d factory game. There are bugs but again, early access.

ok, so far it's good. It's a bit annoying how costly everything is mid game, spending a lot of time dismantling old building to replace them, walking around the map exploring, taking age to do so (very little reward most of the time). Moving around is alright but doesn't feel good, meanwhile you spend a lot of time moving around ... just moving. Invenbtory space is limited, not SUPER limited but since you will spend a fair amount of time expanding/exploring/building nearly at the same time there is way too much small items filling your inventory, and storing/refilling your inventory from chest (that are incredibly small btw) can also be quite annoying, especially since since things are spread apart for a long time. I need better storage, faster and easy QOL "store in nearby chest" and "pickup from nearby chest" button (with maybe later a network option connected to mana pole with a talent and specific more costly storage ?), better platform/ladder crossection, more easy & faster world map movement (walking and shift-jump for minutes get old quickly) and mass dismantling (remove all building in an area no question asked, no more lot of click and moving the mouse on every tiles). Still, a good game. I don't think there is any big glaring issue unlike a lot of other games, I hope I'll see more QOL in the future - playing games like Terraria, Factorio, Satisfactory make it harder to play other games after you saw how "good" it can feel to play them.
