Gameplay options - for FMV game this is, you could say, creative, but still - be aware that this is FMV. Limits of genre dictates a lot in here. Story - you don't want to play this without some mental preparations - actors very believable and story, if it's not familiar, easily will not let you "in peace" afterwards. Maybe, after good ending. I felt really good after getting good ending. It's a solid short game with specific purpose and great execution. Well done, would love to check another project of this developer.
A historical documentary, a game, and a piece of art rolled into one. Whilst I think it does not always leverage gameplay to the same quality as its other components, this is a striking and intuitive piece of interactive learning, that tells the story of millions with the voices of a dozen.
+ Good representation of an awful time in history. + Encyclopedia with lots of information. Horrible information that everyone needs to read. + Cutscenes are cool. + Jakub Hein. - Would have been good to be able to interact further with some items, like photo albums, listen to music records etc. - Coin system is annoying and superfluous. - Gameplay elements like these minigames are not fun. They are also not necessary. - You have to repeat conversations over and over again in order to advance. Some gameplay elements could have been less annoying but it is still worth your while. It it quite obviously not a joyful experience but an important one.
