very interesting factory game with a fun story. It won't be a factorio level base that you build, but you do need to automate the creation of nearly all the turn-in pieces for the end game turn-ins. The story was cute and injected some much needed humanity in a genre that's often dry - place factory, place belt, complete task. The added mechanics of darkness and different elements to conquer were also a nice change.

It's basically Factorio lite & light. It has clear objectives that guide you through the entire game. There is a small story attached to it and some NPCs you can interact with. You don't really need to build and design huge complex automation factories, but rather multiple smaller factories that help you with your task. e.g. Red Rock -> Red Ore -> Red Ingot + White Rock -> White Ore -> White Ingot = Blood Box, which you need 99 for to accomplish your goal and then selectively for some tools here and there, so you can build it far away and then grab it from a chest if you need to, and don't need to transport it back to your base, which I actually kinda liked, because you never really have to "redesign" your entire base. Apart from the building, the game IS a bit clunky. To progress you need to "outlast" some waves of enemies in a small area (doesn't attack or destroy your base), which isn't rally exciting or difficult. Just a bit tedious, but those are relatively short. Apart from that, you also need to "put lightbulbs" down everywhere, because you will die in the darkness and your machines don't work in darkness either. Machines don't consume any energy, just the light, so that's one major aspect to solve throughout the game with different fuel types to increase the amount you can place. The actual placement is very, very annoying tho, since the range you can space them is super small, Overall you can expect around 20h to beat everything and I can fully recommend it, because it does scratch that Factorio itch a bit.

Original factory game, with a story. Great point for the achievements being actually achievable, with a second play through, but without unnecessary grinding.

Positives : The game has an interesting story , fun automation with lots of different options and really interesting visuals . it is relatively short, for me at least its a plus . Negatives : For a factory game it a bit repetitive you have basically the same mission repeated 5 times . SOME of the Ui and gameplay choices don't make sense to me, i mean they are not user friendly . It needs some polish and bug fixes, some things unintentionally left in the game . Overall: This game is unique. it is worth experiencing despite the issues. I see the effort which was put in to it and it is inspiring . We need to support those kind of devs with creative and fun ideas, may be this is not the best game but it is the right path.

Honestly an incredible game. It is deeply enjoyable if you love games where you can optimize and slowly grind your way through automation. The art is very engaging and the dialog is fun, witty, and comical. The game-play is just challenging enough to feel rewarding when you beat the challenge it has set for you. If you want to sit down and really create something complex yet understandable this is the game for you. The developers are also some incredible people who care about their community and listen to them when they add changes to the game. 9/10
