I finished this game with my friend in 5h, and we absolutely love it. For single player it probably will take 10-15h to finish. 80% of notes from another travelers are emotional, and we love it. The map is huge but a little bit empty. It perfect game to spend some time in a winter with cup of hot coffee. Co-op isn’t the best, we experienced bugs like missing names on map pointers. The game don’t feel 100% finished but it’s still perfectly give you the opportunity to feel the vibe. 8/10

Very chill, relaxing game. There's no conflict, no bad guys, no dying to worry about. Very mild and unthreatening consequences for messing anything up. Definitely worth the sale price. If you make more than $15 an hour and you're really jonesing for a quick, peaceful game of craft and gather with no conflict, it's worth the full $10. It could use a bit of work, but considering it's made by just two dudes (not sure of their gender, I'm from California), it's still pretty impressive. My two biggest complaints are that the game was over too fast, and it doesn't feel optimized. I was ready to spend the next week min-maxing production to make Number Go Up and build an affront to god out in the arctic oblivion, but the game started freezing incessantly every few minutes and then I discovered I had already finished the main objectives - entirely without noticing - and already had the option to end the journey there. After another few hours of destroying things and trying unsuccessfully to make the freezing stop, I gave in and mercifully ended the suffering. Great for about 7-10 hours of chill gameplay, but it needs polishing and quality of life additions. Suggestions/Complaints: 1) Needs an optional in depth HUD. Personal hunger is two clicks deep in your helpful device, and there's no way to tell whether your dogs are starving until you're right up next to them. There are also several transactional interactions with no way to tell how much of the thing you have that you're buying/spending. It would also be nice to put a number on the pop-up icons where it tells you you've gained a resource. How MUCH of the resource? Gotta go into the menu to find out, and hope you remember what it was at before... 2) Multi-Level Building needs serious work. The buildings are the perfect size for stacking a multi level base, and there's even Elevators and Built-In Ladders! But you can't stack a building on top of another building. Oh, hang on- you CAN, by painstakingly finagling player position until it gives you the blue light, but then it puts down this HUGE pillar through the building below it, essentially making it unusable. The elevators are also TOO TALL for a simple multi-level base. It ends up being a huge tower of platforms, and the elevators themselves don't snap to anything, so it's near impossible to get the platforms even in a way that looks nice. 3) There's no Physical Ping. Pinging things on a map gives you nothing but a tiny arrow to go on. Having a marker in the world or even just a distance label on the arrow would be WAY more helpful. Otherwise you're just running in a direction with no idea how long it'll be before you reach your destination. 4) Machine Upgrades!! 1 at a time is great for early game and getting started. But when you're wanting to hang out and min-max production and you've got 200+ of every item, 1 at a time is pulling teeth. No matter how you cut it, it's more time consuming than it's worth. Having a machine upgrade to the Lab and the Welder would do wonders. Maybe have it upgrade to be able to process 5 in a row, then 10 in a row? Not even all At Once, but just being able to queue them up so you can do something other than running circles micromanaging machines in the late game. 5) Please, please, get rid of the physical drops from the welder. I know you guys were probably going for immersion, but if they don't pick up automatically when you walk over them they just become a hassle and an obstacle. 2 quick clicks to re-queue the machine turns into spamming E trying to pick up all the little floor objects before you can even touch it. None of the other machines have physical drops, and it's better and more efficient that way unless you're able to add a fast and automatic pickup when you walk near them. Heck, I'd even take another machine that does it. Auto-Picker-Upper, picks up welded bits in a building, or something. But really I think it'd be faster and easier to have it just go straight into your inventory like every other machine does. 6) Building upgrades. There aren't enough upgrades for the buildings, and the fact you can only pick ONE is maddening. For some of them, it's understandable - like turning it into an observatory, or a dark matter generator, makes sense it can only be that thing. But you're telling me I can't have a bigger building + a workshop? Come on now. That's just wasting space. All in all, it was still pretty fun and satisfied my peaceful craft + gather craving for a bit. I'm definitely willing to play through it again if the source of the freezing gets fixed and/or more automation/quality of life is added.

Beautiful and calming game. Just enough to keep you paying attention without ever feeling imposing or dire. It is definitely its own vibe, so if you want complex, detail, intense games, this is not for you. This is a small relaxing sweet game that does exactly what it set out to do. Maybe it's too easy, but honestly, I would just call it casual. It's easy so that you can play it simply and enjoy the view instead of min/maxing your gamer experience. I loved playing this game and it was really fun. Had a little bit of a hiccup building my base, and forgot to save and lost many things. Will come back when the loss of my base wears off. Excited to come back to whatever updates await in my future. Already see the aurora borealis update and can't wait to get back. :)
