I miss the features on the previous iteration of AH3, like the fights with Odin, Parace L'sia and the other augmented characters on the trial modes. Other than that, I love it. The new characters are adorable and very fun to play, especially Gur- Pistrix. Not very "competitive" but very fun. Parace L'sia feels very underwhelming as an arcana especially taking into acc how hard she was too beat in previous games but it's understandable. Overall. Game is very good, a solid 8.5/10 (9.5/10 when you've got friends to play it locally). Would definitely recommend!!!!!!

what happened to this game is absolute tragedy. Its one of the most unique and interesting anime fighters to ever exist. Quality wise its also up there with BBCF as one of the best FGs I have ever played. If only this game could get a revival with rollback as well ;(

I guess there's some fishy stuff with being pretty much a DLC for the previous game, but that's absolutely quality work. Remains of times where it used to be ok to have sexualized absolutely-not-major-but-shhh girls beating each other up. There's about 24 characters and 24 "powers" that they can use, but have no description so you'll have to check all of them online. Tedious, but as a fighting games player, you'll get used to frequently check user-generated databases. It's almost a standard in FGs, but the art is gorgeous. I was too lazy to write a review until I realized the shadow arcana (turns enemies into slime for 1 second) actually has a full sprite set for each hair style of each character on the slime. The homing mechanic can be hard to pick up for novices in the genre, but ultimately makes the identity of the game. You can have fun without. There's solid singleplayer content. Multiplayer is of course long dead.
