This is a really good game with enjoyable riddles, loveable characters and fun interactions. What I liked: + The alchemy mini game. I was afraid it would get boring/repetetive after a while, but it kept me entertained throughout the whole story. A lot of them are also voluntary (but needed to unlock one character's backstory), so you don't have to do too many on successive playthroughs. + The characters. I liked some more than others, but all of them are well written and have more depth than I first thought. Even the bad demon guy has some really interesting aspects to his backstory and you can feel for him. + Customizable character + Tone indicator for choices. I also liked that there were a lot of dialogue options. Most of them didn't really impact the overall story, but they improved the immersion immensely! + The art/graphic style + The game asks you some interesting moral questions. They are mostly connected to the companions' backstories and I felt like my choices didn't influence too much (aside from their epilogue). But I enjoyed thinking about them regardless. + The world building. I just found out a sequel is in production and I am excited to experience another aspect of this world. What I disliked: - The romance. Like I said, the characters are great, but the "romance arc" is severely underdeveloped. You get two short little scenes in which you can confess your feelings and kiss them, but it doesn't change much otherwise. - The end felt pretty sudden - Low replayability. The story is very linear and doesn't branch out. It will stay the same every playthrough, you just change the flavour of the dialogue with your choices for the MC's personality. Anyways, I really liked this game and had my fun with it. I will definitely try the sequel once it gets released. 8/10

Very good game. I like the game design even if the character customisation is limited but still friendly to all gender. The story is interessant and the voice acting is in tune especially the death of Elizabeth and, according to your choices, Mime's death . Talking about choices you have a lot of them, depending on how you want your character to be. Spiteful ? Determined ? Anxious ? Try them, the might lead to different outcome. Didn't romanced all the character but whitout being the center of the game it's still really cute and the romance answers are clearly stated. To cut it short, I had a good time.

I really enjoyed the characters and their interactions. The story moved along at a good pace and there were a few surprises that threw me for a loop. The art style was wonderful, but I felt like the animations were a little blocky. That is my only complaint for this game, and overall it has been a gem to play.

This game was awesome! I loved the plot and how each character fits into the overall story. The story felt authentic and warm, and I feel that the developers put a lot of heart into its creation. I also appreciated that the creators of the game included an option in the character creation menu to use an androgynous model, as well as the sunny presence of Quinn, a non-binary character in the game. I know many newer games try to show support for the queer community through options like these, but I felt like this game in particular felt genuine in its efforts of inclusion. The game has a very welcoming energy, both through dialogue options and design themes. The save system leaves little to be desired - I used it often to go back and explore different options for dialogue or major chapter decisions. I only played through the full game once, but I took my time and enjoyed viewing the various routes of the story. I think this game was a great way to tell a story that weaved together nature and humanity to create a very charming tale full of the atmosphere of a well-built fantasy world. Six strangers forge an alliance out of necessity and work together to uncover the lies that their kingdom's leaders have sold to them as their history. Despite the unfavorable circumstances, these six strangers are able to build strong friendships with one another that dig deep to show the hidden experiences of each. As the alchemist, you get to learn the viewpoints of every character and even pursue a romance with them, which further expand your understanding of the world in which your character exists. Each new perspective allows you to learn about another aspect of existence in the Empire. The game gracefully melds the more playful personalities of some characters (especially Mime!) with the overall severity of the greater injustices present in the world. Arcadia Fallen adds elements of realism and mystery to its fantastical world of demons, magic, and alchemy by constructing a kingdom with corruption much like the governments of today. The writers managed to exemplify the more serious aspects of the Empire through a town's systematic oppression, a rich man's exploitative business practices, and a corrupt government's false narrative. I won't give away too much, but discovering the details behind the mystery kept me entertained and hungry for more information the whole time I was playing. In short, I highly recommend this game! I will be looking forward to playing Arcadia Fallen II; it's already in my wishlist :)

I've enjoyed myself a lot. The art is visually pleasing with its distinct style; story is good, with nice pacing; the characters are interesting; on top of that puzzle mechanics are non-stressful. VA adds a lot to the immersive experience. Did a single run so far, but the ending I got was very satisfying. Kaidan is a sweetheart, so had fun with romancing aspect of the game as well. Bonus points for the scenes when team members are bickering with each other - it was adorable and added depth to their personalities.
