APICO is a very good simulation game where you take care of the hives and bees. With some cutes pixels graphics and a chill ambiant, I recommend it!!! 💗🐝💗

I love love LOVE this game! As I initially bought it on my switch I thought it is a simple little game about bees and flowers but.... it is so much more! It is just perfect and uncomparable to any other game on the market. It definetly is NOT a Stardew Valley clone or anything. It has so cute NPCs, not many but the ones that are in (also the hidden ones) are such a bless to meet. I leved the game so much that I bought it on Steam, too. It is the first game that I bought on two platforms, just becaouse I love it that much. On my switch I have more than 120h+ in and 30h+ on Steam, so you really get content for the games price. I have to say it is a different experience if you play with mouse an keyboard or with controller/steamdeck, everything works good, but I think it is much more stressfull playing on my mac than on my switch or steamdeck, since there are not all menues open. Nice music, nice graphics, great AND unique gameplay mechanics, where you really have to think and experiment sometimes. But the game comes with a big guidancebook, so you are not left alone in the wonderfull world of bees. But you also have all the freedom you wish for. On Discord the devs are really active and always answere fast and help with problems and questions, if you have some, so I can only recommend! I am now really looking forward for the next game of the developer, since APICO is such a masterpiece.

Before buying Apico I tried to look up reviews and gameplay online to see if I'd enjoy the play style, but it's really hard to find much content on this game. Whilst that was sort of a red flag to me, I downloaded it anyway. Apico is the definition of cosy game (to me at least!), and is a unique perspective on standard farming sims. Time passes in the game, but there are NO time constraints. Your character doesn't need to sleep, there's no combat, things dont expire in time, you can really just play at your own pace. I've spent multiple in game days rearranging my house and bee area with no repercussions, whereas similar farming games can somewhat penalise you for 'wasting' this much time and neglecting other aspects of the game. There are so many different machines you'll have running at once, and I did find this overwhelming at first as it seemed impossible to keep up with everything, but the beauty of it is that you don't have to keep up. Machines can sit completed for as long as you need, there's no reason to rush and rush to keep things running constantly. There's A LOT to learn in this game, but the quest system works perfectly for teaching you all of the core mechanics and how to use all of the machines. There are plenty of quality of life features that are much appreciated - the menu system is unique and perfectly executed, and small things like when a tool breaks, if you have another of the same tool in your inventory it will automatically switch to your hand slot so you can just continue using it, both great examples of how smooth and enjoyable this game is to navigate. Apico is a cute little bee saving simulator that truly does feel relaxing to play. 10/10, definitely recommend!

Great game if you're into collection games. For some it might be grindy, but for myself, it is quite relaxing and enjoyable. I even bought the game for switch to sometimes play on the go. There's no rush to get things done. Most definitely a "go at your own pace" type of game. I also loved the little Bioshock easter egg when you start questing. 10/10

I liked this game enough to 100% it. Have a new found interest in beekeeping, cool mechanics, cozy graphics. Addicting to manage bees. Just a good time all round
