Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs is one of the best mobile to VR conversions that I've played. Putting Angry Birds in 3D does so much for the gameplay, and the level editor is a completely unnecessary but fantastic edition. Resolution Games genuinely cooked with this. It's baffling that I'm saying this about an Angry Birds game, but this might be one of my favourite VR games. I had a few of the Jenga licensed Angry Birds Star Wars sets when I was younger, and Isle of Pigs feels a lot like playing with those did. The third dimension adds a lot more variables to collisions and physics than the original Angry Birds, which does make some levels feel a little bit like RNG, but this is basically my only issue with the gameplay. I didn't aim for 3 stars on every level, so this didn't bother me as much as it might've otherwise. Technically, the game runs great. I played it at 220% res on my RTX 3060 (because why not) and maintained a consistent 90FPS throughout. It's an incredibly simplistic game visually, but the art style is really nice. My only technical gripe with the game is that the level editor floor appears somewhat hazy, because an effect applied to this floor isn't mirrored correctly between both eyes. This doesn't massively detract from the experience though, and isn't present in the main game at all. The level editor is really impressive and intuitive regardless. Isle of Pigs is somewhat pricey for its length, but every VR game seems to be now. I think it's worth the price that it often goes on sale for, but I got it even cheaper than this due to the fact I had Acron: Attack of the Squirrels from a Humble Bundle.

You have a slingshot and you shoot birds with it at green pigs that live in forts. Not much else to the game as far as I can tell. My only complaint is that the birds don't seem very angry. They wave at you kindly before you smash them against various building materials. The pigs are the angry ones since you're firing high velocity birds at them. It should be called Angry Pigs.

I've gotten this game awhile ago, but still love to come back to it once in a while. This game works great with the minimum requirements (GTX 970), and had a blast! Would recommend.
