The game feels like a throwback to the PS1 GTA top dowen era. Plays a lot like GTA, pretty noticeable from the mission design and its storytelling. Also it’s a short but awesome experience that you can wrap up in about 8-10 hours! The house robbing mechanic is one of the highlights for me, a very unique touch to the usual criminal antics. But unfortunately, some of the other tasks start feeling like a chore after a while, dragging down the pacing. That being said, the physics and soundtrack are top-notch, and the open world is an absolute blast to mess around in. Overall, it’s a fun game with some great ideas, but don't expect it to keep you hooked for the long haul. Worth picking up (when it's on sale) for a quick crime spree!

This is a fun game. It's perfectly fun, actually: There is no useless grind forced on you. Wanna break into houses right at the beginning? Sure, why not. Learn along the way. Wanna start a fight with the military? Why not, have some nice music. There's no big cinematics, no dramatic voice acting, the game doesn't act like it's the next AAA game, and it's really refreshing, because it doesn't have to be. It's just *good*. It doesn't try to be outstanding and fails like so many other games. The graphics are modern, the controls are easy to understand, and the only thing I'm missing is a multiplayer. I like it.

American Fugitive is a game that feels like a throwback to the early days of the Grand Theft Auto series, with its top-down perspective, open-world setting, and emphasis on chaotic mayhem. While it captures some of the nostalgic charm of those classic games, it ultimately falls short of recapturing the magic that made them so beloved. One of the positives of American Fugitive is its sense of freedom and spontaneity. Players are free to roam the game's open-world environment, causing havoc and chaos wherever they go. Whether it's stealing cars, engaging in high-speed chases, or getting into shootouts with the police, there's no shortage of opportunities for unbridled mayhem. However, the game's lackluster story and characters leave much to be desired. Unlike the memorable protagonists and engaging narratives of the old GTA games, American Fugitive's plot feels uninspired and forgettable, with thinly developed characters and predictable twists and turns. Similarly, the game's visuals and presentation feel outdated and lackluster. While the top-down perspective may evoke nostalgia for some players, it also feels limiting and restrictive compared to the immersive 3D environments of more modern open-world games. Despite its shortcomings, American Fugitive does have its moments of fun. There's a certain satisfaction to be found in causing chaos and wreaking havoc in the game's open-world environment, even if the overall experience feels shallow and lacking in depth. In the end, American Fugitive is a game that falls short of its potential. While it may scratch the itch for fans of the old GTA games looking for a bit of mindless fun, it ultimately fails to capture the magic and excitement that made those games so memorable. It's a game you can play if you don't want to think too much, but don't expect it to leave a lasting impression. (Buy discounted only!)

Honestly, I was playing Grand Theft Auto II, not to long ago and this game is definitely a clone of that but a much more polished and modern take on the whole criminal protagonist, story seems pretty calm, some really fun missions, yeah a bit of it may be repetitive but it also only cost $1.50 on sale, where as games like GTA2 are unable to be purchased anymore you have to buy them in bundle sets which are $60-100. Overall I'd say this game is a solid 8/10, music is one of the best I've heard on any game.
