A great step up from Alwa's Awakening in regards to presentation, balance and progression. I love the graphical art style in this game. The game does balance and progression quite well allowing for some variable difficulty both in selectable unlocks and an optional respawn setting. I found the difficulty to be fairly consistent throughout the game. The progression was very satisfying, both via earned items and certain mechanics in the world. There's plenty to explore and many secrets to find.

Really fun metroidvania with unique puzzles, fun combat, and a lot of exploration. Plenty of abilities to unlock and upgrade, as well. Highly recommended.

Alwa's Legacy... let me see- This game is pretty good for a Metroidvania. That said, I've not played a bunch of em'. Your mileage may vary. I personally have yet to finish it, as the difficulty spike is a little annoying. The early dungeons are a breeze, and the final two will make you frown a lot. Nothing a little youtube LP can't fix, but that's the main shortcoming. On the positive front, this game has very simple abilities, and is really generous about allowing the player to solve its puzzles in an "out of the box" fashion. I often found myself with power ups that the LP guy didn't get until late game. There are plenty of collectibles to grab, but- once again, can be frustrating to 100% without a guide. All in all, it's a good game. It has great atmosphere, and witty dialogue. Sooner or later I'll get around to finishing it... or the LP. lol

A very fun open world platformer. Fights are not too difficult, and the game does not require an insane amount of agility to progress. Lots of secrets to discover. There is a fair amount of backtracking to do as new powers and tools are unlocked, but the game comes with a very elegant warp system that really helps with said backtracking. I found the main story obscure, and the interactions with NPC are minimal, but overall I would suggest this game to anyone wanting to play a 20 hour long open world platefomer that is not too hard to beat.

Very much worth your time, Alwa's Legacy is a metroidvania that cleverly utilizes physical objects you create and a couple of tricks to present you with a myriad of puzzles. It's a game that makes you feel clever from the getgo, even more so as you discover how to properly use every tool you have In terms of combat, it's a very easy game, but I wouldn't say it's a negative, exploration puzzling and platforming are what it excels at If you played its predecessor you'll definitely enjoy this too, although this game introduces a bunch of classic metroidvania upgrades that in my opinion make it a little less unique than the original. Still, it's a fantastic game and worth playing
