Old ass small budget slav game that I originally remember playing on something like Wild Tangent or something like that. Its a bit janky in terms of enemy AI and pathfinding and the low budget is obvious but it works insanely well because it nails what you might have heard bungie call the "30 seconds of fun" design philosophy. Essentially takes a top down shooter form of something akin to Serious Sam with a fucking insane amount of enemies on screen at once and some very slight ARPG elements (Think between level shop that you can buy and sell weapons and ammo and some upgrade implants for your character that top out at 3 implants per stat to reach max. And there are only 4 stats. Nothing crazy or anything its not doing any Diablo type shit.) That is probably related to why the enemy AI isn't the best because you don't really need amazing AI so long as it gets the job done when your fighting a living sea of enemies. Combined with the gore and gibbing system Once this game really gets rolling your going to be seeing a lot of fucking aliens all dying really really quickly and lots of chunks flying absolutely everywhere. Game doesn't overstay its welcome at all with the main campaign taking about 2 hours IIRC but if you want more there is also two expansions that are both really good and harder than the main campaign. I spent a lot of time playing this game after school to blow off steam in the same way I did for Serious Sam.

I remember playing this title as a kid, then forgot about its existence, and years later I can happily relax while shooting at hordes of aliens. The best part of the alien shooter saga, of course I recommend it.
