A Nostalgic Classic, But... I played the original back in the day (Flash and PS2), and I was hyped to revisit it on PC—only to be met with the most barebones port imaginable. No graphics settings (but it's HD). No meaningful gameplay tweaks nor settings. Nothing. It’s literally the same game, two decades later, with basically zero quality-of-life improvements. The port isn’t broken, but it feels a little bit like the devs hit "Export to PC", made some tweaks and called it a day. If this had dropped a decade earlier or cost $5, I wouldn’t even complain. Play Together Mode? More Like "Give Me Your Keyboard" Mode Co-op works, but for some mystifying reason, the second player must take control of your mouse and keyboard—even if they’re using a controller. I’ve played a lot of games, but this is the first time I’ve seen that issue. Short but Brutal If you’ve played it before, you can probably beat it in under two hours or less. New players? Expect pain. It’s not as punishing as Cuphead, but it’s not forgiving either—everything kills you instantly, and offscreen bullets have a personal vendetta against you. Final Verdict The game itself? A timeless, chaotic masterpiece. This PC port? A little bit lazy, a little bit overpriced, but at least functional. Wait for a sale unless you’re drowning in nostalgia. That said, the art style has aged very well, and the gameplay is still a blast, so I’d still recommend it… just with caution.

Alien Hominid is a challenging game that requires persistence and constant attention to your surroundings to avoid frequent deaths. It’s a tough but rewarding experience, where skill and focus are key to progressing. This game marked my childhood, and now it’s better than ever with improved resolution and smoother visuals. The Behemoth has always treated this game as an iconic title, and I commend them for the incredible design of the character and for their other fantastic games. It's a classic that continues to stand the test of time. 10/10

I have about 10 hours on this game, It is Very strategic. You need to know what to do in this game. It is no joke. One shot and your dead. I would recommend starting on easy unlike me who started in the basic medium mode which even then took me hours and hours. I still have not even attempted Insane ( hard ) mode which I know will be impossible just like Castle Crashers. I Don't play much anymore but this game will last hours just depending on how much you like it and how much time you have. It includes so many mini-games, cosmetics, and a story-line of unique levels. Not a Must get but for sure a recommended purchase.

Peoples love for the game is basically fully nostalgia fueled. Actual masochist difficulty and it's mostly because it's nearly impossible to see all the tiny ass attacks and they throw new enemies at you like there's no tomorrow. I'll 100% the game but yikes, only get the game if your a big Behemoth fan and are prepared for gameplay significantly harder than Battleblock or Castle Crashers.
