i have nothing bad i can say of the game itself ,it feels great. Even if you don't build ships being crew panicing while you repair and fight off boarders was really fun. Sadly tho never got a huge community if it did i would probly still play it. the natural interactions i had just being a sailbased harvesting ship was intriging i had friendly players repair my ship in exchange for magnetite (probly misspelled) and also had breakneck chases to get to wind streams to run. i don't have players to run into anymore and the ai don't feel the same

Really small community, but extremely welcoming and helpful. The game mechanics of extracting are amazing as well, letting you design and build a ship in a comprehensive builder and then use it on any server by just paying the material cost for it. The general building is a bit restricted, but that is for the greater good of game balance. Planes go brrr

sure, the menu is a bit clunky, and it takes a while to get used to how the game works, but once you get it, this game is absolutely awesome! you're basically gunning it alone, with friends, with strangers, completely privately or on a public server, completely up to you! any play mode is possible! you fly around, complete various quests, get the hang of it, gather ressources, improve your ship, and then eventually conquer territory if you want. there's quite a bit to do, and it's never dull! what really impresses me the most is that the ship editor has built-in multiplayer! you can invite your friends to work on designs with you, something that stormworks has struggled achieving for ages! the ships are physics powered, sway from all sorts of effects, wind is an issue (or not if you decide to build a land vehichle or submarine). i mean, the game is called "airmen", but you're not limited to air! you can even build a fully functional and viable sailboat, a frigate, a galleon, a nuclear sub if you feel like it! not to mention the ability to simply build tanks :D there are also economic missions if you don't feel like blowing things up, or you can just mine random ressources in the world to use for your own ship. the only reason not many people play this game is literally because not many people know about it. if this game had more exposure, and the menus were cleaned up a little, then it would be a hit!

Amazing Original Idea, extraction shooter mixed with building your own giant vehicle with resources you gather from the islands, tech tree to unlock stuff, you have a lot of features and game meachanics to make gameplay feel better than most early access, and it's mostly bug free which is a lot coming from an indie game. Bronce Beard is an amazing dev, and as a frustrated dev-man i am, i congratz him for the continuous updates and effort he puts every month into adding and fixing or optimizing AirMen, 10/10

Massively underrated game. If you liked Guns of Icarus but wondered what it would be like if you could make your own ship then this is it. Building ships has a little bit of an ā€œsā€ skill curve but does end up being fairly intuitive PLUS you can build cooperatively! And the physics for building are forgiving allowing you to more or less achieve your vision. The controls and UI are a touch clunky but otherwise this is an extremely promising game
