This point-and-click puzzle game was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The graphics were visually appealing, and although the spy-themed story was somewhat predictable, it still kept me entertained throughout. The controls were intuitive and easy to grasp. The puzzles were cleverly designed, offering a satisfying balance between logic and challenge. While some puzzles could be tricky if you didn’t pay close attention, they always felt fair and rewarding to solve with a bit of patience. Overall, it’s a game I’d highly recommend to fans of puzzle-solving adventures when it's on sale.

Really enjoyed this puzzler. Lots of back and forth, which can be a bit confusing since there is no in-game map or fast travel. Take notes, and lots of screenshots- a lot of puzzles are randomized, so they won;t be the same between your playthrough and someone else's, and can't be easily solved using a guide. There are a few good online guides and walkthrough videos (yes, I used one to help with puzzles I got stuck on)- the guides here on Steam are a mixed bag. The speedrunner achievement requires you to really zoom through the game skipping all side-quests, and I am not a speedrunner. So that;s one I will never get, even if there is a good speedrun guide. I just don't enjoy rushing through things. There is a cat who plays a big role in the game. 'Nuff said. The humor ranges from seriously silly, some references to pop culture (movies and TV shows from my Gen X childhood and young adult years- look up Get Smart- it'll explain some of the things), to mildly cringy. I loved the art style. Loved it. ***Accessibility*** Can be played with a controller, though I do not have an Adaptable Controller to test it on- but it *should hopefully* work with one. The game can also be played with kb/m- one handed. There is a || at the bottom left of the screen to pause the game if you can't use the [Esc] key, and everything else was available to click on, on screen. No key remapping in the game's settings- there may be workarounds, but I have no idea how easy or difficult they may be, or id they stick between sessions. The game can be played in short sessions or long sessions- the game does have save-on-exit, and will pick up where you left off the next time. Some of the text and UI might be tough for people with certain vision conditions- some of it is small or uses odd fonts that my screen reader had issues with. Could present issues for folks with certain forms of color-blindness. Not many settings to adjust things other than audio volumes and screen resolution Should be quite playable for Deaf and HoH gamers- there is voice acting, but all dialogue and audio cues are also presented in text on the screen (keep in mind- some small text and hard to read fonts at times). ************************************************** You can replay chapters to pick up missed achievements (and there are a good number of missable achievements)- a good online guide or walkthrough will help with this. 6 hours was my time for a full playthrough, using a guide for some of the tougher puzzles and missable achievements. Using a guide for everything could probably get you through it more quickly. (You'll still need notes and screenshots for the randomized puzzles.) I would be fine paying full price for the game, but I also love puzzle games that make me actually work my brain a bit. And I can afford the full price. That said- get it on a deep discount if you put a lot of priority on $/hour metrics.

I definitely recommend trying to get the Speedy Spy achievement to enjoy the puzzles and suspense of this game best and immerse yourself in the story (taking screenshots or making note of puzzle patterns and codes between rooms will be necessary). 6/10

I decided to buy Agent A: A Puzzle In Disguise at a time when I bought a lot of other puzzle games, and unfortunately I didn't end up playing it as I got bored of logic and puzzle games and moved towards other genres. Since its title begins with an A, this game has been staring right back at me every time I agonize over what game to play next, and I finally decided to give it a shot. It did not disappoint in the slightest. The art style is really stylish and the puzzles are pretty unique and clever. I did get stuck a couple of times, but overall I think that this level of difficulty is great for me, with some puzzles that were simple, some more challenging, and some testing your memory skills (have a notepad/screenshotter handy!). Unlocking puzzles often provided objects to interact with something in another location which I enjoyed a lot - it truly felt like I was a spy hunting for clues and thoroughly searching through the secret hideout. Most rooms are re-explored as the game progresses, which I appreciate as many other puzzle games I play involve searching a room to solve a puzzle, and then never have a reason to return to that room again. While this does lead to some repetitive backtracking, overall I had a really fun time. The cutscenes and dialogue were a bit cliche but charming, and the 5-chapter narrative structure was well-executed - it truly felt like a game of cat-and-mouse between Agent A and Ruby La Rouge. Oddly enough, throughout this entire playthrough I kept thinking back to my days on Club Penguin with me up past my bedtime playing the secret agent missions, solving puzzles and trying to stop Herbert and figure out the mystery. This nostalgia made me even more invested in this game, which was already satisfying and rewarding. Overall, I recommend! Though I don't think there's enough content in the game to justify the ~$20 price-tag. I'd definitely grab it next time it goes on sale though - I got it for 90% off! :)

A very good puzzle game, on the same terms as other games from the genre such as "The Room" series, you will fild a lot of different puzzles to solve and complete in order to progress. It has a medium difficult, and should be pretty foward if you're already used to the genre and games like this. Also, has a very cool level design, runs pretty well, and the story gets you intrigued until the end. It's a little bit too price considering the short experience, so I recomend getting on a sale (got mine with a huge -90%).
