A bit rough around the edges, but when it comes together it's really cool. It feels like a PS2-era platformer, but way more epic in terms of visual scope... in a good way? Definitely worth checking out if you miss games from that time.

Only played for a short amount of time so far, but I'm so blown away I wish I had played sooner. This is truly a hidden gem if you like these "artsy" types of games. Only complaints I have would be the 60 FPS cap and lack of button remapping. There's a small amount of stutter at times, but nothing too bad.

The game is a visual masterpiece but there are a few flaws. Before i start the price is kind of inflated for the content it offers but if its on sale the game is totally worth it. The story is worth watching and looking around makes you realize how much humans have polluted the world. As a result it send a message on how we treat specific species while having very expressive faces when it came to collecting memories. 30-40 minutes load on the first launch. Camera angles sometimes gave a huge disadvantage no matter where you had it since the circle that spawns when jumping was inaccurate. Puzzles and mechanics were pretty cool and somehow unique when it came to combinations of those. Also be prepared for a lot of parkour if you go completion path and many many deaths due to the precision required. I d rather have a different hp indicator so you could die mid levels (not only in acid rain level) In some levels you were given an option to get a boost from trees. Sadly this mechanic stayed on those levels only and not afterwards on the trees you planted along the way that had a decent height. Lastly round objects have a minor bug and let you slip through if not properly landing on them.

The greatest potential to destroy this fragile planet we call "home" comes from each and every one of US . The way the developers intertwined this theme into the entirety of the game is brilliant (the environment, the end level encounters and game mechanics). Explore haunting environments by either jumping, sprinting, floating, sliding or wall running to help retrieve various animal spirits that were driven to extinction by US . Each location has a central theme with a new movement ability to traverse the area to reach eight trapped main animal spirits needed for the completion of your quest. Traversal mechanics can be imprecise at times as you often float over or barely miss the platform you intended to land on which might frustrate some people. The occasional combat zones are equally as frustrating as your ability to fight back are lack-luster and often results in you retreating to gain back your stamina before heading into battle again. There are many animal spirits to be found throughout the world with some easy to locate while others are easy to see but getting to the location will require exploration to discover hidden paths. The game can take anywhere between 7 to 15 hours to complete depending if your trying to find all the animal spirits or not. If you get easily upset or depressed by dark surrealism and/or you are uncomfortable with seeing animals hurt then you may want to avid playing this game.

This game is great. i dot know why there are so many negative reviews for it. i am only 1/3 through the game at this point, but the gameplay and platforming are all good in my book. the combat took me for a surprise because i was not expecting it but not bad at all there are a lot of review mentioning the lack of keyboard support which baffles me there are a ton of games that say controllers only like dark souls and there are no complaints about no keyboard support on those games at all. 10/10 would recommend
