Much better than I expected, would easily recommend if you like both ARPG's and Soul like mechanics and want to see what it would be like combined. Well executed, though where i am at in the game my only gripe is lack of skills to make the game play a bit more varied.

Very good and simply game to play. You don't have to worry about lots of loot and managing inventory space weapons and armour wise. There isn't a complicated skill tree system with classes to worry about. Crafting consumables is very easy to do. It's just a good Hack and Slash game with very little stress.

Pretty good game. A mixture of dark souls type combat with the top down view of diablo/path of exile. Pros: - Combat easier to learn and satisfying - A Good mixture of enemy types - Story is pretty decent, there are a few choices you get to make. Not sure how that effects the story. - The camera locking on system got improved and is playable now (was an issue before) - Price is good for what you get Cons: - Co-op is not story mode but an arena mode. I can never find anyone to join and when I do, they are afak or across the world with horrible ping. Would recommend this game for solo play, stay away if you are strictly looking for co-op.

First of all who the hell comes up with this 'souls-like' nonsense, I've seen it time and time again in many different games but the only 'souls-like' mechanic is portal/checkpoint/bonfire where you can level up and where you can rest and reset all enemies. That sure as hell isn't definition of 'souls-like' but whatever I just wanted to address that. About Achilles ... is it a shovelware? No! Is it awesome arpg? No! It's actually fine enough game which is actually kind of a unrefined gem where the first thorough playthrough takes about 20-25 hours - music fits nicely the setting - it's UE4 so it looks nice - every line is voiced even though the delivery might be janky and whoever voiced Achilles tried to do Aldo Raine impression (and tbh it's not a bad thing) - there's fair environment variability (2 big maps and 3 small ones+some cellars and dungeons) - good weapon and overall equip variety - variety of enemies is also good enough for a game with this price tag Thinking about it I don't really have something really bad to say about this game, yes it crashed on me once but that's about it. Story is fine, combat is fine, there's couple of bosses that have well visible attacks unlike Lillith in Diablo 4 and the game (depending on chosen difficulty) will most likely hold you by your nuts until you find a blacksmith but after you level up a bit and upgrade your equip you get from mostly 1v1 fighting to aggroing whole groups of enemies and cutting through them like hot knife through butter. So good job devs, you've delivered a game with fair price tag.

This game is a hidden gem that need polished. A good action RPG that worth your money. Pro : + Solid RPG with excelent graphic for the environment + Many weapon to choose + Good control, easy to learn + Quest give you direction and good visual where to find it Con : - Combat is clunky, no light and heavy attack transition - No final blow/ stagger attack to enemy - Enemy attack is slow, you can pretty much dodge all of it - UI is weird, should add a shortcut just to open map instead of opening all UI and switch to map tab - Camera need to be fixed, some big object like tree and rock on the corner obstruct vision
