Ace Combat games are the pinnacle of flight sim video games. The game is entertaining and the stories are always great as well. I only hope they re-release ace combat 4,5,6 and even the wii ace combat on steam.

don't hate me for this but this game is for controller or flight stick sim, not on mouse and keyboard. So if you're planning to play this make sure you are planning to buy or have a controller at least. I don't recommend playing this on mouse and keyboard it such a horrible experience, buy Project Wingman instead

The game itslef is a known quality and I see no reason to start gushing about it even more (BURN OSEA TO THE GROUND - Dog). The whole point of this review is to highligh how utterly brilliant AC7 is on Steam Deck. It's silky-smooth 60fps, controls are tight and there's no need to change anything in the settings. It just works. If you're looking for a true benchmark game of your new Deck OLED - AC7 is your first pick by far. You'll be in awe, believe me.

First of, Ace Combat is not a Flight Sim or even a Flight Arcade. It's a 90's Hollywood Ace Pilot Game.It has as many logic flaws as said movies, and that's the point, the game is more about what makes it FUN than logic. Game wise, It's a blast, the challenge is mostly fair, save 1 or 2 places where feels a bit bullshit, a mission with lighting, fog and big spiky cliffs comes to mind! The game is a solid recommendation if you just want to have a weekend of fun. My only gripe is the lack of Controller options, specially a more in depth capability of making the controller as I'd like to fly, this really hampered my enjoyment for the first 3-4 hours, until I get used to the arguably worse control scheme. EDIT(Post Playing Project Wingman): It's insane to me that this game has a higher budget but lack of so many features that should be simple to add, that an indie project has. Playing with a custom control scheme and Track IR, made a MUCH lower budget game SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE. I still recommend BOTH games, if you like one the other is just an extra cake.
