After the latest update, I find it one of the best football manager games ever. Only needs some tweeks to improve interaction between users such as chats and time zones/rules to allow for more live matches.

Been playing for a year and still enjoying. first thing to note to enjoy all the features youth leagues, youth accadamies and friendly matches you need to pay a monthly subscription but this a sub to play basis opposed to pay to win. it's a few quid a month to enjoy these features and i'd recommend you do so I love the game, but there's a learning curve with a MMO so you have to be patient, you also have to effect in any league there are 20 other managers like yourself and only one can win. You'll know within 2-3 weeks if you love the game or not, only thing to note you'll start in the lower divisions where they are fewer active teams so you may have to wait a few months before you are regularly playing online teams

90 Minute Fever is a very enjoyable game/lifestyle choice. In all honestly, since picking it up I've hardly been able to keep away. The game is in it's infancy, and to be perfectly honest, a lot of the negative reviews are based on issues that I'm almost certain will be rectified in future. As it states, it is an early access game, but sadly the patience several users of the game exhibit seems not to accommodate that very much. For the price, it's ridiculous how much fun this game is. I can honestly say, it's definitely worth a try. If anyone asked me, I would just say "buy it".

90MF is (still) a text-based MMO Football-Manager-Sim. 1. What are you doing in this game? You choose your team name, dress colours, emblem (easy to import) and the time of the day/night at which you wanna play. (For example Late evening Football association = LEFA = 8pm-10pm UTC) Then you should be online at this time if possible. If you miss a match you still have 24 hours to play it, if the opponent is there tho and requests to play, the match starts without you. Then you miss the chance to make substitutions and/or tactical adjustments. If your team is the better one, chances are still good that you will win the game. (If you dont have 3 injuries that is...) If both opponents miss the game for 24 hours it will be autoresolved. You also have the option to play all sheduled matches from the next 10 days - only if one of the opposite sides is online too. Most of the time i spend on searching for new players. You can always bid on players from any team. Players cannot be transferred twice a season tho. (A season/year takes one month). If you release the contract of a player or you are the first bidder on a player from the transfer list, then a 24 hour negotiation phase triggers, in which anybody can bid on that player. The highest bidder wins and pays the amount of the second highest bidder. If nobody bids on a released player he becomes a free player. After 7 days free players can be instantly transfered into your squad, for free. This is useful if you want to quickly form a Youth-team (U21 or U18) for example. It is advisable to form Youth teams asap (or at least one U21-team) because they are the source of good future players that dont cost you money and they can be sold later with profit too, of course. You practically get money every day. Stadium tickets, TV-payments etc. At the end of the season you get extra cash depending on your results in the League. There are "timezones", just as mine which have almost 200 clubs which means there are 10 divisions of 20 clubs and there are "timezones" which have fewer, like 40 clubs ergo just 2 divisions of 20 clubs each. Being last in that second division would bring the same amount of money as being last in the 10th Division of the other (my) timezone. So there is no real advantage in joining an FA with lesser teams/divisions. Just take the FA where you have time to play. There are also several Cup events, similar to the Champions League, EL, etc. Atm its all knockout but group stages will be introduced this or next month i think. Staff has also been introduced recently, meaning it is advisable to sign a Senior Coach, a Youth Coach and a Physio who takes care of injuries etc. 2. Personal opinion This game got me hooked instantly. Everything is well organized and self explaining. There is an ingame guide also aswell as a steam guide to help you out if necessary. Playing against real players is a whole different story compared to other football-sims. And if the other dude isnt online - the better for me. Sure, i lost games where i had 30-40 goal attempts and the opponent just 5 - but thats football, it happens. YES it happens and it can be frustrating. I really like digging deep to search for players, finding talents or cheaper older players that can help me instantly. But you never know if you really get them (except they have been free agents for 7 days as mentioned). It can be pretty exciting. Atm i am really enjoying this game and i feel it will last for a while. Trying new tactics is fun but still a bit limited which brings me to the final chapter. 3. The future The remaining dev-team is small, really. They are working people like you and me. Still they want to introduce a 2D match engine and other features like more depth in tactical possibilities. Also tactical orders for every single player and other stuff. There are many stats already you can check out but there are more to come. The game is totally NOT P2W the only thing you can do with cash is supporting the devs on patreon which will help to develop the 2D-Engine faster. I cant wait for that really. You get some goodies if you do, like you can nominate a Wiki-player (which are real players that can be found on Wikipedia) to get introduced into the game. The player is not yours then, he will be a 15 year old youth player and when he gets released everybody can bid on him, as with all the other existing Wiki players in the game. As said often: This game is a marathon not a sprint. At the beginning you have a few millions, but i wouldnt just buy one "super-star" for like 3 Millions. (real Superstars are 10-100M anyway) I think its way better to make little steps. But someday, i know, i will play with a Maradona or a Zico or Andi Herzog, Ronaldo, Ian Rush, Oliver Bierhoff, van Basten, Loddar Matthäus, Zinedine Zidane, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona.............. EDIT: - group stages are in for a few months now and fun, custom tounaments will come too - released players/staff become free agents after 3 days now instead of 7. EDIT 2: - what i really like, devs seem to read chat or they can read thoughts. I wrote in chat that the profanity filter was too strict (couldnt write the word "Titles" in my profile) - Update at the very same day, it got fixed. On another occasion it has been discussed in chat that some stats dont work correctly - 2 days later there was an update to fix it. etc... There are some more examples, but if the devs have the possibility to help the players out with some quality of life fixes, they do it, instantly. +++
