After reading Episode 4, I said that it had the perfect conclusion to 9-nine, but here we are. New episode really does wrap up everything in a nice, neat present with a bow on top. It's a short game that includes a short story (A loose end basically) and 4 epilogues for each heroine, all of which are quite nice. The ending really made me feel complete, but sad 9-nine is over. I LOVE 9 NINE!!!!!!!!!

As the last episode of 9-nine- it does its job perfectly fine of wrapping up the loose ends that still remained and providing a short cute scene with each heroine as well as a few very short interactions with Sophie. There's not much here though other than that, and it's exactly what you'd expect from that short description. Honestly if you've read 9-nine- up to this point, you should read this as well as it provides a more satisfying conclusion to the story for the most part. I'm personally not a fan of the whole "time jump / parallel universe to prevent everything from happening" bit as I feel it devalues the entire story itself. But I'm probably in the minority in that. Ultimately I'm happy with 9-nine- as a pentalogy and if you're reading this somehow before the other episodes, you should go read those as I'm sure you'll enjoy them. I'd recommend the series to nearly everyone, even if Episodes 1 and 5 are a bit of a letdown in my opinion.

A proper good bye to the series One last fight, after stories and Sophie. It is not perfect by any means but it is nice to have a bit extra time for the Characters and have different timeline perspectives. And yes, the loneliness still strike after this one. A great reminder to experience those times to the fullest.

Despite the name, New Episode is an epilogue to the 9 -nine- series. It provides a glimpse into the aftermath of each episode, while also tidying up the last few loose ends teased at the end of Episode 4. It's fairly short, clocking in at somewhat under half the length of the main episodes, but does a fairly satisfying job wrapping things up and giving a final farewell to the series and it's cast. If you're already invested enough in 9 -nine- to have read through Episodes 1-4, then reading New Episode to finish off the series is pretty much a no brainer.

I have reached it, the end for now. The afterstory episode was a nice concluding treat for the series, sad about Yoichi but it's inevitable since we couldn't see eye to eye. Renya was best boi hands down loyal to yoichi in every route. Man the afterstories themselves were a joy to read and I appreciate how it tied up most of the loose threads that remained, and the ending was really nice I was sad it had to end, but everything must come to a close eventually. Overall if you finished everything else there is no reason to not go all the way now, read it and watch the aftermath of this incredible ride we have been on.
