Still beginning days of getting into this game. Visually beautiful, unique dystopian game that has engaging and challenging puzzles. The controls frustrate me on placement and can't adjust them for some reason. Will continue to play!

Hours are inflated since I accidentally left it running a couple times. I'd gotten frustrated at a couple puzzles and had to walk away. This game is great! I really enjoyed the story, shifting environment and the way the whole perspective changed. VERY nice to look at too. This gave me Inside feels. A couple of the puzzles were beyond frustrating... I would either eliminate them or give a little more guidance. Also, I couldn't find a way to enable a crouching button on my XBox gamepad? Fortunately it wasn't needed much. Other than that, controls and everything were solid.

Look. I do recommend this game for 95% of its content. The mechanics are pretty neat, the setting is cool, and the game looks and acts great for most of it! It's the other 5% of the time that makes me hesitant to give this game a full thumbs up. The puzzles were straight forward and I got through them pretty easily, so please consider that when I say that there were bits that were unnecessarily hard. The bits I'm referencing are so stupidly repetitive and don't require thinking, yet instead, rely on the ol' "guess and check" mentality. The main part I'm thinking of right now is towards the end
when the two-legged bot is chasing you down and you have to flip 5 levers that are randomly dispersed. The number of times I died and had to restart because the robot randomly decided that lockers 7, the second locker 8, and 9 were suspicious and it needed to swing the door open and stab whatever was in there is fucking stupid. I didn't start to put it together until an hour into this cat-and-mouse chase that it was a part of it! I don't recall being given any kind of indication before about how it would start killing randomly, so I couldn't prepare! That's not a puzzle, it's just stupid!
That's just one example, but I could list at least three other times something similar happened. If you are willing to buckle down and deal with these smaller instances, then by all means, I highly recommend this game; but if a potential hour of trial and error doesn't strike your fancy, then save yourself some cash and look elsewhere.
