If you ever wondered "what would Mega Man X be like as a roguelike?" this answers that question and the answer is "awesome." The soundtrack is solid. Boses are interesting. The plot you can uncover is a very nice touch and the controls are tight well refined. This is clearly a labor of love on the part of the developers and it shows. I can fully recommend this game.

A very competent facsimile of a MegaMan X game if it was a roguelite. It is quite an improvement over its predecessor 20XX.

The controls are perfect, the randomized item drops and level design make keep it fresh every time you play. There's no denying the similarity to another robot jump and shoot property, but since we haven't seen any of those in a long time, this is a fantastic spiritual successor. I just beat 20 entropy difficulty last night and was afraid I might get bored with the game soon, and the next day they release a new playable character, and there are community built levels to explore, as well. I still have to beat the game with one of the other secret characters, but ther replayability on 30XX is phenomenal. I just happened to stumble across this game one day and I'm glad I did.

Absolutely fantastic, straight up one of the best action roguelikes on the market right now. Visually a huge step up from the previous game, 20XX, and the soundtrack is just as outstanding as that game's but with way more tracks. Difficulty is on the lenient side until you get to the higher entropy levels. Overall, I highly recommend.
