Steam really needs a conditional recommendation option for reviews for cases like this. I loved the game on mobile and wanted to chuck the developer some money and have enjoyment of playing this on my PC. Ultimately, pretty worth the $5. Missions are challenging and the maps are varied enough (the later ones' inclusion of more objectives did make for some interesting planning decisions), plus it runs great on Linux. That all being said, there's no replayability once you've completed all missions on all difficulties and unlocked everything, there isn't much point to replaying missions unless you're chasing high scores. There's very little turret variety (four turrets with two ultimate upgrades each) and fixed placements for them, further limiting creativity and also having the side effect of there only being a handful of correct ways to play the harder difficulties. If you want a new and interesting tower defense to drop a few hours on, this is totally worth it, but don't go in expecting something with infinite playability like Bloons.

It's a good tower defense game on the surface. The skills which are unlocked by earning credits is a bit of a grind fest but if you like the genre it's still fun to replay levels.

I've played like 9 missions so far and it's pretty great. This game is balanced, has lots of upgrades, progression, has replayability with achievements, and the artstyle is awesome. You can tell the developers of this game actually take feedback serious and don't abandon the game like Elemental TD, Epic War TD and so many others. My only complaint is that there's only one soundtrack! Don't get me wrong the soundtrack is solid, and most TD games settle for only one sountrack, but imo that shouldn't be the standard. I'd prefer at least 2 just to switch it up a bit

Oh I already played through normal on two devices and halfway through hard. on mobile. there are not a lot of games like that on mobile and I think we should support that kind of porting, as I was unaware of this game being on steam due to well the thousands of games on steam, tens of thousands. Kinda like how I bought slay the spire on mobile cause I just loved the game turns out its also just great on mobile, even more enjoyable than pc for me. so ya, EFF YOU MICROTRANSACTIONS AND ADS. Its a great game. 5/5 buy it on mobile if you want it...well mobile.

Fantastic and overlooked tower defence game. The art style is great and a lot of effort was put in to make the game visually appealing which I really appreciate as the TD genre often places very little or zero emphasis on visuals. The game is more challenging than most tower defence titles, but not so much that anyone cannot play and enjoy it. Achievement hunters will be delighted as there is a lot of content and achievements to push for, and unlocking said achievements grant huge amounts of EXP to help your overall meta progression to unlock tech and passive bonuses. For the price point, I wholly recommend this game to tower defence enjoyers.
