Top-Down Shooters are definitely not my cup of tea but even I am entertained. Shooting is tricky though and enemies can occasionally draw a little faster than you so getting used to that while moving to avoid getting shot takes time to get used to which is a challenge I accept. There are few grammar and dialog mistakes but as far as I remember I only counted about five so not a big deal. What "kinda" s*cks is its very hard to play on a controller due to aiming so I had to settle with a KBM instead. Overall though the game is well done and polished and to wrap up, my expectations for indie games/relatively smaller studios aren't sky high and this one easily exceeded it so I recommend this game especially on a sale. It's a fun time killer and achievements aren't demanding to complete either. You should be able to 100% this in a free day imo.

Story ? skip, skip, skip... GamePlay ? decent. Graphics ? who needs them..., decent concept art whoever. Requirements? grandmas computer should do it. Buy it ? on sale.

A pretty fun game in the spirit of Hotline Miami. This one gets the action, control and balancing pretty much on point. The western theme is very amusing but one gripe I had with the black and white stylized graphics was that occasionally it got pretty hard to spot an enemy as they blend in with the environment very well sometimes. The story is mostly nonsensical and not that interesting to begin with. Think the movie Machete and you'll get the general idea: Mexican dude wakes up with amnesia, has to regain his lost memory, Rambos a heck lot of baddies to hell on the way. It's serviceable but sometimes it seems they try a little too hard to convey that the protagonist of the game is the biggest badass in the west. The meat of the game is the fast paced shooting where you will dispose of your enemies with knives, shotguns, rifles, pistols, shovels, bows and arrows and other weapons typical of the western setting. You also have access to dynamite and with a certain perk can tie one to the back of a rat and have it run conveniently towards the closest enemy. The enemies are pretty good shots. You'll die a lot and learn a bit more about how to approach the level and try again and again. As is normal with this genre. There is a perk system as well where you can earn money in repetitive "kill everybody on the level" missions and acquire a few throughout the journey. Nothing special but I think the game would have benefited from a more varied and pronounced perk system instead of the limited set of perks we have available. All in all, a pretty fun game. If you've played games in this genre before, you'll know exactly what you're in for and on a sale, this could be that perfect purchase to sink a few evenings into.
