ok so 1000 days to escape is basically 100 days to escape but with extra zeros so u get way more time to fuck everything up. instead of only 100 days, u got 1000 days to get humanity off this burning trash can of a planet before it goes kaboom. sounds easy right? WRONG. ur still launching rockets, still trying to find planets that don’t suck, and still forgetting basic things like oxygen and food like an absolute dumbass. so first u got earth, and earth is just straight up dying. every day it gets worse and worse like ur watching it go through a midlife crisis but instead of buying a sports car it’s just catching on fire and crumbling. u gotta send people to space before everyone turns into crispy bacon. BUT WAIT it’s not just "press button, launch rocket, win" – no no no, u gotta actually think (tragic). there’s a bunch of planets and moons to check out, but most of them are dogshit. u send a rocket to mars? cool, but oh wait, mars has no oxygen. u send one to venus? congrats, everyone boiled alive in 5 seconds. u send one to some random moon? oops, no resources, they all starve. u have to research tech to make planets livable but that takes TIME and u may have 1000 days but somehow it still feels like not enough bc everything takes forever. also, rockets cost money. yeah, money. why? idk, but apparently even in a world-ending crisis capitalism is still alive and well. u gotta balance budgets, build rockets, upgrade them so they don’t suck, and figure out where to send people before they all die horrible deaths. sometimes u launch a rocket and forget to put people in it. sometimes u send a ship with no fuel. sometimes u spend all ur money on one big fancy rocket and then realize u have no food storage so everyone dies anyway. and then there’s population limits. some planets can hold a lotta people, some can barely hold ur mom. u wanna send millions of people to a nice safe planet? tough shit, that planet can only hold like 500. guess u better start launching a lot more rockets. but oh no, launching more rockets means spending more money and waiting for research and suddenly 1000 days feels like 10. by the time u reach the last few days earth is basically hell. like full-on apocalypse mode. cities on fire, land breaking apart, people screaming, and ur just sitting there like "huh maybe i shoulda started evacuating earlier." at this point ur just desperately launching rockets hoping someone survives while earth goes full explosion. sometimes u do great and save millions. sometimes u end up saving like 20 people and humanity has to restart with a bunch of idiots on a tiny rock in space. overall this game is like if u mixed a space sim with a stressful time management game and then slapped a big "haha ur bad at planning" sticker on it. it LOOKS simple but it’s evil. 7/10 would watch earth explode again.
