This is the kind of game I play for a little reprieve from moments when my brain is running like a hamster on a treadmill. It's extremely simple: find 100 hidden objects (in this case, turtles). Once you've done that, you've completed the game. The music is a vibe, the art style is charming, and it's an easy 100% for anyone looking to boost their completion rate. It is a little expensive for my tastes versus how much playtime I got out of it, so I'd recommend you buy it on sale to counteract this.

Slightly better than the others: short, loud, easy, but in colour What this game is: A hidden turtle game, like other hidden animals/items found on Steam. This one is very short and too easy like many others. How does it work? It is a basic point and click game. You have to find all the turtles hidden in a picture. You go progressively down the only picture and click on all the turtle you can find to change their colour. How does it perform? Very easy to play. You click on each turtle you find and its colour changes. You may expect around 30 minutes of play. The good points: Simple and easy game. You only need to sit and click. Getting the Achievements is very easy. There are no apparent bugs. Takes less than 90 MB on your HD, and will run on a 10 years old PC. You can expect 30 minutes of entertainement out of it. There are Steam Trading Cards and easy Achievements. The bad points: The game is too short (30 minutes for one playthrough). The music is ok but loud, and it is impossible to shut it down or lower the volume. There are no controls to change volume or screen settings to make your gaming experience better and more enjoyable. A timer mode could have been added in order to provide some more challenge, but no. What you see is what you get. Replay value is low. My take on this: As it is, this game is just a rehash of similarly priced cats games. It is short, too easy, has no controls to speak of, and appears to be some sort of easy do, rince and repeat scheme in order to make money. I can recommend buying it ONLY if it is heavily discounted for those that want the the easy Achievements and Steam Trading Cards . There are equivalent free games on Steam that are way more entertaining than this one, and are better made.

No matter how high or deep you go, there is always a turtle around. 100 Hidden Turtles is a short hidden object game. It would take about 10 minutes to find all the turtles. Unless you miss one and have to go back wondering wich ones you already found. That is also the only flaw with this game, it is hard to see if you have found a turtle yet (they get a little darker after clicking them, but it ain't always very noticable). The game houses a down/up scrolling map with no zoom function. The nicely hand-drawn map starts in black/white till you finish a short start-of-the-game interaction. After than the whole map gets filled with collors, moving fish, coral and lots and lots of turtles. well, 100 of them. some of them even move. As you search through the map you will find 4 small extra zones filled with turtles. It's a lovely map filled with collors and movement. And even some stuff to interact with. 100 Hidden Turtles is exactly what the short 100-hidden game should be like. There are many of such game that could learn a couple things from this game.

Absolutely gorgeous, colored hidden object game. Has moving features with animated objects. Colored turtles are hiding undersea and in other places. Can you find them? 100 Hidden Turtles by Developer Anatoliy Loginovskikh Hidden object game in a undersea setting. It starts out being a black and white, hand-drawn graphics in a cartoon style. Then the game becomes beautifully colored, with animated turtles, fish and algae. Click on the turtles swimming by or those just chilling somewhere. There are also buildings to click and find more turtles inside. Then watch the spaceship slowly go up, follow it to the top to get 10 more turtles. Finish the game with the panda again and yep you guessed it, more turtles.
