I'm obsessed with this game ngl. The plot can get confusing at times due to the game's fast pace but is very creative and entertaining. The different endings are awesome as well, it's fun to replay them after a while. The art is beautiful, as well as the music and atmosphere. In my opinion it's a fun and unique experience, can definitely recommend!

Fun and interesting story lines. There are 3 true endings all which is good. However I do hate the complexity of the main ending >:( You will need to use a guide as it is not obtainable threw just picking the right answers, it requires you to jump from save files like time travel. Personally I would have never thought that nor guessed the right save points and order. I hope in the future if more games are made like this from the developers that they just leave the possibilities by answers alone and no save file jumps. Otherwise you have to spoil the game picking answers to play. Again though, I truly loved the story lines / endings!

Interesting and unique story that, although confusing at times, is pretty good and understandable after all the endings. Atmosphere - is instantly very good. It has a very nicely done eerie vibe, and the music fits it well. Art - I really liked. The art style is beautiful, and perfect for this type of story. Also character designs, and backgrounds are nice, along with CGs, but there's only a few of them. Story - is the most important part of this Visual Novel, and I think it is good, but a bit rushed at some points, and also really confusing at others. It is interesting, and there are plenty of choices, but it feels a bit too short, and you also need to do some kinds of save&loads at certain points to be able to get the true ending. I would say that after all the endings you can understand everything that happened almost fully, but it might still leave you with some questions. Very nice, and quite different VN than usual, which is nice. 7/10

Suicide Countdown: 7 Days is a short horror-murder-mystery visual novel which I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend for a fun read in this genre. It will take about 2-ish hours to play through and see the three different endings. In my first playthrough I got the Memento Mori ending and during that playthrough, I figured out the twist pretty early on but the story still remained interesting and I felt satisfied once the credits rolled. The next day after, I played again to try for the other endings. This time, I did a playthrough picking all the choices opposite to what I had picked previously but still got the same Memento Mori ending. I then followed a guide to get the other two endings which I highly recommend doing as you will need to make not just specific choices, but make them at specific times (imo the way to unlock the path to the Clair de Lune ending was awesome). The other two endings really add onto the first one to give you a complete picture of the story and the characters within it. Whereas in the Memento Mori path/ending, I quickly figured out the twist, the other two endings surprised me with twist after twist that made me audibly go "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." The Freud ending reveals more about the teacher, Tao Rong, and has a gnarly twist at the very end. I got this ending last but if you can help it, I would go for this ending second so you can end the game with the Claire de Lune "true" ending. The Claire de Lune ending takes what you learned from the Memento Mori ending and expands on it more to provide the bigger picture story and left me with an even more satisfying conclusion to the story. SPOILER BECAUSE I GOT SO HYPED AT THIS PART: That specific Fight Club reference with the knife appearing in Han Chuan's hand in the Claire de Lune path made my eyes light up as I knew immediately what was happening!

Well… that was a ride. The concept is interesting, and the idea was there- but in practice it was kinda a mess. I felt like the pacing was all over the place, and subplots from the beginning of the game are completely forgotten towards the end when the main character starts learning things. If you don’t save scum to get the other endings you’ll finish this game feeling confused beyond belief. The story covers some really dark topics, and doesn’t really handle them all with care. I found the darker themes quite interesting, but I felt like it could’ve been executed a lot better. The philosophical aspects are also pretty interesting, if you’re into that. That all being said, I don’t regret playing this. It was wayyyy too short but I ended up really enjoying it, specifically the Clair de lune and Freud endings. The Clair de lune ending feels like the ‘canon’ ending of sorts. It gives way more information than the other endings and has the most satisfying outcome. The Freud ending I enjoyed, more so because of how utterly horrified I felt at the end of it. I swear I felt my soul leave my body, and honestly, for a game like this to pull that off is impressive.
