Just played my first "run" start to finish for the first time and had a very nice ending with the girl I felt the most for. This is a very good game in this genre. First off, the premise of "you are the only male student in a girls school" is nothing to scoff at, very tantalizing. Then, you get to meet different girls with different situations and personalities and kinda choose your path. Also, the scenes go one after the other at the right pace - not too short, not too long, so this is very easy to enjoy. First run I had a hard time choosing who to focus on, since all characters are interesting in their own way. Of course, I realize these games rely on clichés in their genres, but I found the individual characters to have more than enough nuance to leave not feeling "just cliché". In particular, the inclusion of a non-asian character to the main plot is very cool, and something that sadly you don't see often, though I understand learning Mandarin fluently enough to act is very difficult. That said, after a few interactions, I knew who I felt most towards, so I went in for it. I was surprised that the game actually introduces more characters after that and has interesting stuff happening where it's not simply "pick your girl day 1 and that's it" - there's interesting stuff to be had beyond that. So, you can't experience everything in the first run (from what I see in the chapter exploration menu), so I'm eager to go back and try to focus on different characters. And, regardless, every time you have a choice, there's live footage playing in the background where all the characters play out their behavior so expressively, it' so good to watch and also difficult to make choices. BTW, I got a "behind the scenes" clip after my run and it's so cool to see all the actors and production happening. I like this genre of game a lot, since it's a mix of watching a TV show and also having some "game" choices in the meantime. Also, I'm from Portugal, completely around the world, so it's so interesting to have contact with chinese stuff like this. It provides a nice break from other more traditional "video-games". I hope the developers and the studio gets to continue to do games like this with interesting experiences. Personally, I would love a period/historical drama as a setting for this kind of thing. I hope these are popular enough so they can have enough budget. I'm here for it!

In the vast cosmic void that is existence, we find ourselves confronted by the ultimate question: why? Why do we persist, why do we seek connection, and—most importantly—why does Knowledge, Know Lady exist? But let's be real, the game answers none of these questions. Instead, it stares into the abyss of human relationships and winks, offering you a smorgasbord of choices that ultimately don’t matter, much like life itself. You see, in this game, every lady—every digital simulacrum of affection—will like you. No matter if you choose to be a stoic philosopher or an overly enthusiastic puppy, the outcome remains unchanged. They will love you. And yet, this affection feels hollow, as if the game is mocking the very concept of choice and connection. It’s as if the universe is telling you, "Sure, you can have what you want. But does it even matter?" As I sit here, watching pixels of affection flash before me, I can't help but feel the crushing weight of my own loneliness. Because no matter how many digital ladies fall for me in this game, they’re all programmed to do so. Just like how life programs us to chase meaning in a void devoid of it. How poetic. The game's mechanics are as predictable as my existential dread at 3 a.m. But maybe that's the point? Maybe Knowledge, Know Lady is a commentary on the absurdity of life, where every choice is equally meaningless, and yet we trudge forward, hoping for something more. Or maybe it's just a quirky dating sim with too much confidence. In any case, I’ll continue clicking through these hollow dialogues, filling the void with sarcastic laughs and hoping the next digital lady will fill the emptiness inside.

The quality of the game exceded my expectation by miles. The story is great and the acting of the girls is top notch and well their beauty level is off the charts. I especially like Serena Wen and Avril Lin but each of the girls has their own charm. Whats pretty impressive is that your choices actually matter. Not only about who you will choose in the end but also what activities you do what places you visit etc. basically you need multiple playthroughs to get all activitys/places etc. There are also A LOT of endings 6 early endings 6 perfect endings 3 double endings and 1 super ending. Also diffrent failed endings. The story overlay is very well done you can go back to any point at any time and replay or change your decisions. You can skip or fast forward already played footage so adjusting your playthrough to get wat you wants is super easy and you do not need to replay the entire game if you do not wish so. This game has no sex and no real nudity. A bikini is the most you will get but its not needed with how charming the character interactions are. The translation while not perfect is good enough and only in a few moments you might get confused but it did not take away from the overall experience. I can highly recommend the game! The only downside is a single bug for me: the game always says my steam is offline and kicks me to a screen where i have to click continue every now and then and after exiting i sometimes have to manually update the steam cloud.
