「Sometimes what the eye can't tell, the heart can.」《Blind》 is a light fantasy game for girls set in a modern city. After a childhood accident that left me with a strange face blindness, I was introduced to a profession called "watchman" and since then, the world has taken on a whole new dimension.

It's a good story with beautiful art ! Translation can be off at times but it didn't really take away from the story for me personally. I recommend getting the DLC, it has answers to a lot of loose ends in the base game, more nice art, and you will need it to unlock all achievements if that's something that is important to you.

What a wonderfully lovely game. It blends just the right amount of pretty amazing artwork (let's hear it for rain effects!) and great humor. I was never able to play/read any kind of a horror game and now...! Now I made it! And thanks to this game... Which made it possible! Overall I was able to understand 20% of the story (or even less). Names and "he" and "she" are constantly confused, as well as this: a person can go "My name is Zhou. What's my name?" (Instead of "My name is Zhou. What are your names?"). I didn't learn anything about the characters themselves and well... It's hard to world build when you can't fully understand what one is trying to get across. But guess what? I had a great time. I shared my joy with others and they had their days brightened as well. This may not be a horror/psy-horror game in English (not yet anyway / until the language is tidied up)... But to me... It was damn worth a read! I love it! One does not simply get up early in the morning to rob a vegetable market for an expensive fish. -> Reference to one of my all time favorite texts.

Disclaimer: I'm fluent in both EN and CN. I bought the game just to see how bad the MTL is. In English, the plot is still contextually understandable, but a lot of the times part of the sentence will have you going "????????". I eventually switched the game language to Mandarin, and I wouldn't recommend anyone playing this in English unless you're already used to reading terrible, unedited MTL Solid 3/5 game Plot: 3/5 Personally not very engaging, but I wouldn't say it's bad. Learning about Hitobashira is interesting, definitely Art: 4/5 Gameplay: Pretty linear. You get choices but they don't make much difference. Some situations give you choices that don't affect anything, other situations give you choices that end up in two outcomes: progress the story, or die. That's it. TLDR; if you know how to read Mandarin or don't mind terrible, unedited MTL, buy it on a sale.

It looks interesting however, the English translation is hard to understand. Sometimes it doesn't make any sense at all. If they were able to fix the translations I think this would be a great game for English speaking folks. I am (tentatively) looking forward to this change so I can better understand the story. Even with these issues the art is really pretty and I think the developers put a lot of time into the other aspects of the game.
