Final review after beating the game! Minor non-specific spoilers. I'd give this game a solid B with accolades for charm and style. It's not hard at all, but it is very fun and satisfying to play mechanically. The characters and world are designed with a lot of love-- but the english translation has so many errors I found it hard to get immersed in the story. I enjoy how the game lays out breadcrumbs to lead you to a solution, but the rough dialogue made it feel less compelling and a bit silly at times. I also would have liked a slower burn for a mystery like this with a buildup of tension spread throughout, especially to further explore all the cool characters introduced here. More in-depth mystery mechanics like the ones near the end of the game would have been cool to see implemented throughout, and the ending was a tad abrupt. Still, I think this game does a great job with the time it has, and considering that it is an indie project, the attention is detail is really commendable. I recommend buying this to support the studio that clearly put a ton of care into this game. In the future, I hope to see more from them, and I hope they will get the resources they need to make the game feel clean and professional in any language. Mistakes aside, this is a charming, carefully crafted experience that gave me a good eight hours of fun, and even with the typos, I am very glad this developer put the energy in to add an english translation so that I could have access to this game.

A short but charming game. Very story driven and family oriented. Honestly, I'd gift this to a 10 year old. Pros -Good characterization -Easy puzzles -Engaging plot -Cozy pixelart. Cons -Kinda dull -Absolutely no sense of urgency or importance. -Artist put a bit too much effort into character models and I spent half the game wondering if this was a horny game only to realize there was ZERO ROMANCE PERIOD.

I just finished the game and I can only say I love it. I am a fan of detective novels and this game keeps a good pace with the story and the misteries from start to end. The Pixel art work is good and pleasant, the music and environment sounds help to inmmerse in the experience. At least with the current version, the english translation have a few typos but nothing that hinders the experience. The puzzles are fair and not overly complicated. If you like games where you unravel a mistery, solve puzzles and meet a diverse cast of characters, I highly recommend this game.

First of all, the game is gorgeous. I know some people might not want to play this game because of the characters, but this is a spectacularly beautiful game. The level of details even for things that we don't need to interact with is just breathtaking. The music is perfect for every scene so far. The mechanics are good, I need to get used to pressing a button to get up and down for a bit, but nothing is difficult so far. Thank you for the hotfix, btw, I respect the work. Okay, this is just me especially because I do work as translator and proofreader, but I found some more typos in the dialogue (I am in Chapter 4 right now). While it's not a major issue, I hope some day in the future you guys will edit the text to perfection. I'm really enjoying the story so far. I love the character designs, I absolutely love the little things like the invitation card, the posters, the diary. I love the read button so people that might not be able to read anything written with fancy fonts can read easily. I just forgot to check my journal a lot because geez, that would have helped me before I started conversation that eventually led me to choose something. LOL Well, a part of learning. It's a very good game with a fair price, I must add. I hope more people will play this game because it's amazing. I really understand why the release date had to be pushed back after I started playing the game. It's just reasonable. That's all. Thanks so much for making this game. I hope all of the hard work paid off because you guys totally deserve it.

Fantastic game and a great spiritual successor to Tales of the Neon sea by the same devs. Translation quality is fine this time (unlike the pre-revised version of ToTnS), so unless you're an english teacher you won't have problems enjoying the plot. Less puzzles this time, and they're a bit easier, which is fine. One hint: if you're going for a 100% explore everything before entering a door/passage/ area you're supposed to go to, because stuff will get locked out and you'll have to load a save or use the chapter select option.
