Sept. 2025
Highly recommended in the future. This game is everything and more of what I wanted out of Core Keeper. I love the monster girls, automation systems and everything in general. The only problems right now are the terrible translations, the lack of QoL features, systems that have not been implemented yet like ranching, balancing issues, horrible controller layout and overall lack of polishing. Based on this review one would think the game has more negatives than positives and that would be correct, HOWEVER, the positives are so good and the game has so much potential, since it's going to keep receiving updates in the future and also has a workshop, that I can't give it a negative review. Even though it has a lot of problems and it's more like a beta than a full release I had a lot of fun with this game and that's why I decided to stop playing after making it to Core Level 5. I plan to come back to it once the game has been properly finished and polished so I can enjoy it at its fullest. In its current state as of today (Nov 2025) I give it a 7/10 hoping to give it a 10/10 in 2026. Some feedback: So far I've only played in Extreme difficulty and it was piss easy. There are too many ore nodes for a mode that says "very limited resources" and in terms of combat it's extremely easy for a mode that says "combat difficulty very high", you can beat the game solo without ever taking any of the monster girls on your expeditions. There is a massive grind required if you want to make floors and walls that aren't the basic ones for all of your base e.g. quartz floors. The interactions with the monster girls are a bit lacking and they get affection too fast. You can get them from 1 to 5 passively very quickly even if you barely interact with them. Core Town's side quests are a pain in the ass since the map is so big and most quests there are just fetch quests. Translations need to be redone as soon as possible and please DO NOT name the main character Will. If you have all of the text in the game including character names and dialogues in the same text file then don't name the main character Will, otherwise players who edit the file to change the character’s name would have to check every instance of "Will" to see whether it’s being used as a name or as the verb "will". Also add more steam points shop items please.

Better controller support would go a long way for me. So far..6.5/10 Controller support would bring this up to a solid 8/10 for me personally

It's like Core Keeper mixed with some parts of factorio and you get waifus. 10/10.

So far this game is a 7/10 for me. The gameplay is nothing too new or fancy. Farming, combat and mining, the usual. There just needs to be more refining and quality of life updates. As you progress you can automate things and you have NPC to assist you or help you fight. The NPC characters are cute and are often better in combat than you are. The translation isn't great but not world breaking like the other reviews. From the other reviews, I thought I had to learn a new langauge to play this game. But it's just not the best translation, but understandable. As long as its updated and improve with the upcoming 1.0 release, I don't see a problem with it. There are also complain about lots of bugs. Here's what I have encounter so far: 1) Quest involving killing certain enemy might not register kill, if kill by range attack (pickaxe throwing) 2) If moving platform don't come to a full stop, you'll just fell off? 3) Will continue to water even if water can is empty, no notification, no progress either. Some recommedations: 1) Maybe allow it so companion favoritism raise slowly when you are in the same party as them 2) A way to craft from chest/quick deposit to nearby chest from inventory 3) Increase AI ally work (farming) efficency, they are very, very slow to do any task. 4) Need to be able to click and hold to plant seed, planting each is a pain. 5) Bulk crafting

This is A Core Keeper like game if developed by Chinese Developer. I think? but still either way it's a solid standing on its own game with differences enough to not be a clone all together. So Far I haven't gotten too far into it. but you can manage NPC Monster Girls. (My life for monster girls~) have them do automated tasks and help out in combat as as well. the art is pretty decent. the gameplay is nice too, but it lacks a little variety so far as I have seen. but I will play more to update this review in time. Never the less. it's a working game, outside of some minor bugs. I recommend it eitherway. my only disappointment is a lack of more character creation options and some other features that would be nice to consider like coop or mods
