The Good [*]Although very little, nice art [*]Some of the varying choices in the game lead to some very enjoyable moments that you don't really expect the writer to go very deep into. [*]With the right kind of empathy for this, the experience will be very touching despite how short the experience is [*]A decent amount of reading time while being extremely cheap to buy. [*]Lilith exists, thankfully so. The Bad [*]It's very short [*]A particular ending can be a bit too easy to accidentally get, derailing prior choices [*]Your furniture won't stop talking to you You came for the cute girl, but she was always there... There's alot of "meta" visual novels out there that give you an interesting story while giving people a lasting impact on how clever they use their gimmicks while maintaining an appealing atmosphere. As someone who went into reading The NOexistenceN of you AND me while expecting such a scenario based on some comments and the trailers, this VN does that while adding on a bit more to the experience by being more direct with you as the reader Or Tulpamancer . Sadly, the VN is too short to really say anything without spoiling more than the steam page already does (ironically), but in spite of spoilers: it's about the context and why things tie together which make up why it's enjoyable. Expect a decent amount of comedy with references, some serious moments, and an unexpected amount of philosophy thrown at you while reading. This is an experience; to get the most out of it: you should go into this while self-inserting yourself as much as possible; after all, you are the protagonist here. While some choices or paths might not match what you had in mind or what you would do, the VN generally does a decent job of showing you why things happened that way aside from the bad ending, but it was good nevertheless . Beware of guilt tripping... If you are any of the following: [*]Lonely [*]Need something short to read [*]Wanted to meet a cute girl [*]Looking for a little bit of philosophical thought [*]An interesting experience in general If you feel any of that, then I would recommend trying out The NOexistenceN of you AND me. However do be warned, if you are someone who engages in heavy self-loathing or self-esteem: be a bit careful while reading as this VN can be potentially impactful in terms of guilt tripping. All in all, this was a very enjoyable experience and because of it: I rediscovered a friend that was always beside me. Lilith exists...

10/10. TL;DR: I am studying in a psychotherapy and psychology, and this game is therapy. Straight up, that's what it is. Spoilers ahead. Gameplay: this is a visual novel. you navigate through text that represents the speech of the in-game characters, and make your own choices that represents your speech or actions. there is a point in the game where you play a rhythm hit 'em all segment, but otherwise, it's just a visual novel. But it is only same to other visual novels in terms of gameplay. It is magnificently different otherwise. 3/3 The story: the story describes us, both the protagonist and the player, as a person who struggles with understanding and accepting the rules of the world, such as common sense, reactions of people, the stress everyone brings to each other, and after having failed to understand the things described for a long period of time, we have isolated ourselves in our room, and instead created and imaginary friend, in whom we have secluded ourselves, to protect ourselves from the world which we couldn't understand. Said friend is the poster girl of the game, Lilith. The story is very much choice driven, to the point where the choices you have made, the words you have said in the very beginning shape the ending you reach. The themes discussed are also very prevalent for a person that struggles to understand the world, and thus decides to deny and reject it instead. However, even though the game gets very philosophical at some points, it still reminds the player that it is but a story, that we are reading, while shaping the plotline. The narration is magnificent, the exposition to the worries and anxieties of the main character/player are very well integrated into the text and story, and overall, the game serves itself as not just a story, but a very complicated, yet understandable explanation, of how the world of people works. Brilliant storyline. In the end, whether you decide to break the shell you have secluded yourself in and seek warmth and comfort outside of it, or to remain inside of it, knowing that it will not change, mutate or otherwise become uncomfortable to you, the story that you have sculpted always lets you know, that the choice you have made is only shaped by the opportunity costs of the choices you rejected. 4/4 The Flavor: The voice actresses for both the Chinese language and Japanese language have executed their roles magnificently. The narration of the main characters' (read: players') thoughts is serious, yet doesn't always take itself seriously, showing that the main character (read: player) is human, and in turn, all the characters we have conversed with, are human, still. The style of the visuals, the main menu interactions, and the achievements that you can acquire have their own style to them too, which I, and many others, find adorable. 3/3 Overall, after playing, one can easily tell that the author put their utmost effort into creating this story, and their efforts were not in vain. An amazing game, no, an amazing Experience, that I personally wish I could forget, just so I can experience it for the first time once more. [if this review gets 100 "useful" tags, I will make a playthrough of this game on YouTube. On god.] [update: making videos is hard as hell. I dont promise that i will make it soon, but i promise that i will make it.]

i found this game after looking at the point shop and seeing the avatars (pretty anime girls...), decided to look at the game and purchased it since it was only around $3. best decision ever. i loved this game so so much. the art, the music, the story, everything is absolutely amazing. it's a relatively short game, 3 endings that are roughly 2 hours long each. i wasn't expecting the story to be as deep as it was. the topics discussed are topics quite a lot of people would be able to relate to, some of it hit close to home. this game is truely something special. would definitely recommend playing it. the only real downside to the game is the fact that there is no proper save feature, so you have to finish the chapter before you close it (luckily the chapters aren't super long, roughly half an hour each). i really enjoyed my time playing it and would definitely play again. i, like everyone else, love lilith. 9/10 ā™”

5 hours of gameplay? pretty anime girl? pretty anime girl explaining philosophical ideas? YESSIRR It might seem short, but the message is conveyed masterfully, with the main girl's being FULLY VOICED, YES FULLY VOICED, FOR THIS LOW OF A PRICE it has multiple endings too though I wouldn't follow her advice... 10/10 go play it, wouldn't hurt, you might learn something new
