i wish to give steven a big ol smooch but seriously tho, this game isnt very romance heavy at all. however the story pulled me in and i played through most of it in one sitting to get the true ending! for the price i think its worth it if youre okay with just reading an interesting story. if youre looking for something heavy on romance i would maybe find something else to play

This game was a wild ride that made me more suspicious of humanity as a whole. The lesson here is that people suck, even (or especially) the pretty ones. That said... *Bats my eyelashes cutely at Steven* Mama doesn't mean you, baby girl. It's you and me against the world

A fun short (took me 2.6 hours, description says 2 to 4) visual novel. Not really romance focused, but more using the romance visual novel format for telling its story. You play through the story multiple times, but there are differences each time, as the story builds and the game switches focus

Went in thinking it was gonna be a regular otome game, came out having gotten a crash course in gaslighting and manipulation. 10/10

One of those games that makes you think it's one type of game, but then completely surprises you out of the blue and becomes something unexpected. You play as an MC that inherits money from their uncle who just disappears and then they're left in his old home and doesn't have to work and has no clue what to do with their money. She starts out really dumb, spending money on dumb things and just getting lovestruck by every guy she meets. As the story progresses, you run into all sorts of scams and such to go after your money. It's essentially like a sim of the dangers in life for those who win/inherit money; the horrible stories you hear about people who get lots of money and how people come out of the waterworks and become enemies to them. It started out as a boring Visual Novel and I went into it knowing it had a twist like Doki Doki does, but then I still was slightly surprised by what happens. Basically this game is a guide on scams and becoming smarter so you don't get scammed. It's actually an interesting game especially for the money. The sprites and CG art are good. The music is interesting. The characters and the plot are decent/unexpected. I guess only real downside is using real pictures and just painting over them for the backgrounds; that and the fact that there's not really any romance in this despite looking like an otome game, so it might disappoint some people. But overall, for being bought when on sale, it was worth the money. I do suggest buying it on sale since it is a bit short (I beat it in 4 hours and that was with constantly restarting from the beginning to get every ending) otherwise I recommend getting this especially if you like games with crazy characters and plot twists and enjoy silly tropes being made fun of.
